Grand’s Ice Cream Shoppe

This was a fun find while on a detour through North Manchester about a week ago. The old soda shop signage above the door made me think of McCord Candies in Lafayette. The old soda fountain that everyone visits. Now it appears to be an ice cream shop downtown. I love these gathering places in the small towns that I visit. This one fits that bill and looks good doing it.

Ice Cream Week

This week is all about the ice cream shops that I see on the road. The theme within a theme a lot on this blog is gathering places. In the summer there is no better gathering place than the local ice cream shop. This week I have five of those for you to take a look at.
