Revisiting A Familiar Barn

This barn played a fun role early in the blog. It always had a new sign on it, and the red barn looked great against a nice blue sky. I loved photogrpahing barns early in the blog, and I still do today. This was one that was easy for me to get to, and it also photographed well. I would try and make a photo every time that I drove by it. It makes sense to be a part of this countdown. Here is a link to that first blog post with this barn.

15 years Of This Blog

This week this blog turns 15. It is hard to believe that fifteen years has gone by so quickly. In 2011 I had gone to conference to learn more about my camera and photography. I spent a couple of months just wandering around with no purpose to my photography. A Google+ group gave me the idea to start a photo a day blog. It would force me to go out and make a photo every day. That is what this started off as. It is crazy to think about what photography has allowed me to do over the years. This week the theme is all about celebrating some of my favorite things to photograph with the camera that started this blog off.
