Back To An Early Location

Years ago I would just drive around and make photos. I would always stop at this church to make a photo. For this week I thought that one more photo of it would not hurt. I don’t believe that it is a church anymore, but it looks pretty much just like it did back 15 years ago when I would have made photos of it. You can see the first post from this church here. Be kind about the HDR effects on it. I was learning. Part of learning is doing the wrong thing and realizing that it is the wrong thing. It took me a little too longer to figure that out, but I finally did.

15 years Of This Blog

This week this blog turns 15. It is hard to believe that fifteen years has gone by so quickly. In 2011 I had gone to conference to learn more about my camera and photography. I spent a couple of months just wandering around with no purpose to my photography. A Google+ group gave me the idea to start a photo a day blog. It would force me to go out and make a photo every day. That is what this started off as. It is crazy to think about what photography has allowed me to do over the years. This week the theme is all about celebrating some of my favorite things to photograph with the camera that started this blog off.
