Nature Taking Back

On my way to LaPorte I have passed this service station a few times. I had not gone this way in a while though so when I came back through and saw how much nature had reclaimed it was kind of shocking to my eyes. I pulled over to make this image. I have never been one to explore the inside of places like this. I just liked showing how fast things can go back to nature.

A Road Trip To And From LaPorte

This week the afternoon theme is a collection of images made on the way to and from LaPorte at the beginning of August. I tried to find something new in each town to make a photo of. These are towns that I have driven through many times over the years on my way to or from Purdue. It was fun to try and give them a little more depth on my trips.
