The Halleck Federal Building

The final photo this week for the Walter Scholer theme is the Halleck Federal building. Reading about the possible change of ownership of this building started my wheels turning thinking about this project. I knew that this looked like other buildings that I have photographed so I looked into it a little more. When I saw the Scholer name I knew that I needed to dive into this theme. This week was all about buildings not on the campus of Purdue. The next time this theme rolls around we will go to campus to see the effect that Scholer had there.

This week the theme will be buildings that were designed by Walter Scholer. The look of the campus of Purdue is directly related to Walter Scholer planning how campus should be laid out. His designs have become iconic in both West Lafayette and Lafayette. This week I am going to look at a few of the buildings that he designed.
