Lights After The Show

A Little Fun After The Show

This past weekend after our concert we went back up to our room. Many of the buildings that I wanted to photograph after dark had already turned off their lights. I was tired, and I kind of gave up on the idea of making a Fountain Square photo after dark. When I looked out the window though I had an idea. This was a cool view, and I wanted to find a way to capture it.

Making The Most With What You Have

I had the idea for a photo here, but I didn’t have my tripod to get a long exposure. I left it in the car because any long exposure work I thought would have been on the street. I also didn’t have my camera shade to cut down on the reflections in the window. I tried to use the window ledge to somewhat stabilize my camera, and I used the curtain as my blackout cloth. I was not too sure about how it would all work, but I pretty much did what I had in mind with this photo.
