Morning Reflections In Lafayette

Wednesday morning was a crazy one. My little one was supposed to start putting paint on the wall that they were painting. A steady rain all morning would make that a little harder. We went across the bridge hoping that it would stop. It did right when we got into town. While her class started I walked around a little looking for reflection opportunities. I am not the biggest fan of rain, but when it does I try to make the best of it.

Things I Saw During Art Class

Last week my daughter was taking a mural class at Flourish Art Studio. Amanda is amazing, and if you are in the Lafayette area I would highly recommend checking the website out. They have art opportunities for kids of all ages including old men like me. Every day I would drop her off and just walk around town. I have done this before when my little one had other classes downtown. I would try and pick a new area everyday to walk to. I had the idea of making at least one photo a day for this blog from these walks. My ideas didn’t always pan out, but the process of making them was a good exercise.
