A Great Day To Be In San Francisco

I made this photo over eleven years ago now. We had a day to spend in San Francisco that was cut much shorter because of a flight cancellation. I didn’t have much time in this city, but I can see why Tony Bennett loved it so much. When I made this photo we were grabbing a bite to eat after checking in to our hotel. I loved this building, and knew that I wanted a photo of it. I had some luck with how the foreground turned out.

Finding A Photo That You Never Knew You Had

I was in this folder looking for a picture of the Willie Mays statue when I saw this one. At the time I didn’t think much of it. Now though I saw the potential. I had a good idea here that had a little luck to have the bike in it. I don’t know why I didn’t see this back then, but that is what comes with eleven more years of photography under my belt.
