Photo of the Day
I came home today for a family gathering here in LaPorte. It is always nice to get back to where you came from. I took this picture for a neighbor last year, and there was always something missing. I did not have a wide angle lens so I had to use a cheap knock off camera attachment for my 18-55 to widen it out a bit. That combined with a cheap tripod led to a very bad job of framing on my part. I will have more on that later. I love this scene, and I wish that I could have another chance at it with my current equipment.
Technical Data
Like I said earlier this shot was really at the wrong angle. I had to use Lightroom to get it straight again. When that was done I lost the tops of the trees. Even with that though I still like this shot. No presets were used here, but just a lot of trying sliders to see how they worked with the picture.
