Today I have picked this photo of an astronaut that I took in 2006. I have always admired the accomplishments of NASA so I was very excited to go to Cape Canaveral to see where it all started. I saw many things that will probably end up on this site, but I always liked this shot. I think the reason why is in the visor of the suit. I don’t like my own picture taken so you rarely see me in a shot. Here though you can see my Purdue jersey that I was wearing. I was in the area to begin with to see Purdue take on Maryland in a bowl game. That game did not go according to plan, but I did have a great experience at the Cape before that.

Technical Data

This photo was a jpeg because I did not shoot in RAW until recently. You really cannot do much to a jpeg so I did not. I changed the clarity and highlights in Lightroom, but that was about it. I also performed a small crop to get this just how I wanted it.
