Grabbing Some Smoky Sky Photos

On the night that I made this photo I made a photo that I liked much better of the sunset through the smoke on the campus of Purdue. In fact I didn’t edit anything from this camera from a couple of days. I liked what I made with my other camera so much I could wait a while. Of course when you do that the photos lose their new shiny appeal and they often don’t make the blog. I kind of liked how simple this photo was though.

Capturing A Moment In Time

I love the look of this shopping center. The stained glass on the other end has long since been broken. I try and incorporate this batch of glass in case it is ever broken and gone. That way it preserves a little bit of history. Every photo doesn’t have to win awards. Sometimes they can just be a way to remember a moment in time. As a photographer I sometimes forget that. These past couple of years I have been working hard to try and make any photo that catches my eye.
