Fall At A Historic Lafayette Home

There are two Oppenheimer buildings in town that I like to photograph. The first is the old storefront that is across from the courthouse. The other one is the Oppenheimer home on Cincinnati. Both it seems like I have to have perfect conditions to make a photo of. The old storefront is usually snow or wet ground. It looks great at night. This house I usually wait until fall when the trees are looking great. Most of the time when I drive by there are cars all in front of the building. Every now and then like on Sunday night I had a clear shot at the house.

Fall Foliage

This week my afternoon theme will be some of the fall foliage scenes that I have found while out and about. This is a fun and colorful time of year when I can really have some fun. Of course when the leaves are gone everything will seem a little less colorful. Lucky for us the Christmas decorations have already been up for a couple of weeks.
