The Lions Club Ice Cream Truck

I don’t know why, but the Eddie Murphy ice cream song comes to mind every time that I see this ice cream trailer. I have photographed it many times up against the ivy covered wall on the other side of this parking lot. This time it was in a different place, and I thought that it made for an interesting photo. I love that red brick building so I try to include it in photos when I can. The little hourglasses made me think that it was counting down until I get some ice cream. Hopefully that is soon.

A More Structured Blog

This past summer I started a 50 day theme that is still going. To do that required some planning of the blog. That has really never happened before. This blog started nearly 15 years ago as a photo a day blog. I went one year posting a photo a day. I couldn’t plan as I had to make a photo every day. That lack of planning has pretty much been a staple of this blog ever since. Lately though I have started planning more. With about a month of theme posts written ahead of time I could plan more themes. That has given me the freedom to look ahead and plan a little more. It is a really cool thing, and has kind of made me very excited to write for the blog again. After fifteen years there are times when I want to give it up. Luckily though it is still fun, and this thing can keep chugging along.
