Grabbing Some Candy After School
You have already seen a couple of posts about my time at St. Joseph’s School. When school got out we had a little time before the school across the street got out. Those of us that rode the busses would spend that time at Sage’s a candy shop across the street from our school. Here we could get bubble gum cigarettes that would puff out sugar when you blew into them. I was never a big candy fan, but it was always fun to go in here and see what I could find. Then walk back through the church property pretending to smoke. We were really huge rebels back then.
50 For 50
This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
