A 21st Birthday In The Bleachers

This is a photo that is more about the day and the person than the photo or the place. I was living in Iowa when my brother turned 21. I used vacation time to come back home to be with him during that time. I got bleacher seats at Wrigley for his birthday and we headed to Chicago. As we entered the stadium my brother won an autographed Sammy Sosa baseball so they took him through some secret tunnels to get his ball. Sammy hit two dingers on the day kind of capping the whole thing off. It was a fun day, and my little point and shoot camera gave me a fun memory of that day.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
