A Weird Connection

Early on this blog had a big connection to the Anthrop family. The first photo ever was of Danny Anthrop playing high school football. The blog celebrated one year with a photo of Danny as a member of the Boilermaker football team. An early successful photo was a photo of this same barn with the sign for Danny when he went to state. I didn’t know what I was photographing at the time, but it was a cool high school pride kind of thing. Years later when Jackson Anthrop and Central Catholic were going to state I made another photo of this barn. I really like how this one turned out. It was the perfect time of day to make this photo. I don’t photograph Anthrops much anymore, but early on this blog had a lot of them on it. I am sure that soon there will be another crop of Anthrops soon that fill the pages of this blog.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
