Bald Eagles And America

Photographing A Bald Eagle Again

The bald eagle at the Tippecanoe battleground is the easiest bald eagle that I photograph. I can get as close to it as I want without it flying away. I was on my way home from voting on Tuesday, and I had the thought that this bald eagle with the fall foliage around it was the perfect subject. I was feeling pretty patriotic about voting at the time so I was all in on this photo. Now that I have photographed this bald eagle I am ready for the real thing to start to patrol the Wabash again.

Fall Foliage

This week my afternoon theme will be some of the fall foliage scenes that I have found while out and about. This is a fun and colorful time of year when I can really have some fun. Of course when the leaves are gone everything will seem a little less colorful. Lucky for us the Christmas decorations have already been up for a couple of weeks.
