Watching The Sandlot On The Ballfield

Last night we were at the West Side little league field to watch The Sandlot. It was a fun night with free food and of course a very good baseball movie. I grew up with The Natural being my baseball movie, but there is a whole group of people that came not long after me that love this movie. It is very cute and has some great scenes in it. I have only seen it a couple of times, but every time I like it more. What better place to watch it though than on a baseball field. The whole night was set up to talk about how they are going to update the baseball field to get it on par with some of the better fields in our state. Hopefully soon we can watch a movie on the softball field to celebrate that field getting upgrades.

It has been a while since I made photos that showed up the next day on the blog. I have been taking a different approach to photography lately. I have this blog pretty much written a little into the future right now. It feels good to not have to produce something everyday. It lets me work on some more long term projects. The way that photography is going right now has made me rethink how I do things. I really like what I am doing now. Less events means less stressful quick editing nights.
