The Old Berry’s Camera Shop

This is the first place on the countdown that is no longer around. When I first moved here I bought my Canon 60D with the 18-135mm lens at this store. The service was great, and I would go on to buy a lot more gear for the next year or so until they closed. I made this photo just after leaving the store after picking up the 18-135mm lens that was part of the kit. This was the first of many photos that I made with that combo. This combo is the reason that this blog exists.

50 For 50

This is going to be a crazy theme. For the next fifty days I plan on posting a photo of a place that has some meaning to me. Last August I came up with a theme for a week showing some Purdue memories. At the end of this fifty days I will turn fifty. I thought that it would be fun to take a look back at some places that bring back memories for me. This can’t be an all inclusive list, but one that I hope will be fun for you as well as me.
