The LaPorte American Legion

This is the one legion that I will post about that I have been inside of. When you are younger those dollar beers were very welcome. When I was younger and went to bars more this was a great place to have a couple and a card game as well. When I think of the legion I think of legion baseball, and the inside of this building.

American Legion Week(s)

For the last few years I have used the fourth of July week to post some American Legion buildings. This year we celebrate then 250th anniversary of America so I figured that we would extend this theme for a couple of weeks. Whenever I visit a new town I make sure to find the legion. That means that I have a few in the bank so this is also a good way to show off a few more American Legions in the towns that I have visited.
