The American Symbol

A Wood Carved Bald Eagle In Bringhurst

I had never been to Bringhurst until late last year. I found a couple of cool things while driving around the town, but it was this bald eagle that stopped me. It was a pretty cool carving with a few mushrooms growing out of it so that it looked like the wind was ruffling the feathers. I love this little piece of art made in a town that I did not even know about until I drove through it. That is why I love finding new towns. You never know what you are going to find.

Almost There!

This week the country turns 250 years old. I plan on having some fun looking at some American symbols and practices in the mornings this week on the blog. I did not plan this out when I saw this, but it really made sense to just have some fun and find little symbols of America all over.
