Get Your Fireworks!

It is almost that time! The time to stay up a little too late and roll the dice on how many digits you will have in the morning. While I was back in LaPorte this past summer I made sure to take a walk down Lincolnway. So much has changed since I left town years ago. Some things have stayed the same as well. Danny’s fireworks is one of those things that has been there for a while now.

This Saturday the country turns 250 years old. The great experiment has stood the test of time. I wonder what our founding fathers would think if they could see what they have set up has become. They could never have imagined how much things would change in this country over the years. This street in LaPorte will be the capital for the day on the 4th. I am writing this a little early, but a trip up to LaPorte might be in order this year.
