Finding A Gem Downtown
Yesterday I had some free time so I was out making some photos a little south of the main portion of downtown Lafayette. I was focused on murals, but this building was too cool not to make a photograph of. The ivy is great, and appears to be taking over the building. I love the way that it is partially over the windows and even swallowing up the space where the front door used to be. This is such a cool building that I don’t think I had seen before yesterday. Sometimes it pays to take a different way to where you are going.
A Fun Drive
This was part of a trip that took me eventually down Wabash Street to check out the murals there. The Wabash murals are amazing, and they have been on my list to photograph for a while now. Yesterday I checked some of them off of my list. They will be my theme posts next week. It was great seeing the murals, but it also led me to a couple of gems like the photo above as well.

That ivy is amazing. It is a bit creepy how it is “swallowing up” the building. Great photo!
Thank you!
