Out Looking For Photos

This past week has felt kind of like the early weeks of this blog. Back then I was always on the lookout for photos as I had to find, make, and post a new photo everyday. The past week or so have felt very similar to that. I have been trying to change things up a little bit. I challenged myself to find something that I have not photographed every day this week. I don’t know that all of those photos will make their way to the blog, but it is fun getting out there and trying to find photos everywhere again.

What Is This Photo?

While eating dinner Sunday night I saw this strange pattern on one of the drinks on the table. I pulled out my phone and made the photo. To me it reminded me of the stained glass windows in our church when I was younger. To me it was amazing that something so cool would come from a drink at a restaurant. The photo below shows you what I saw from my seat. Normally I want my photos to tell a story. You should be able to look at it and know what you are looking at. Sometimes in photography it can be fun to try and trick your audience a little. I would never mislead in a bad way, but it is fun to try and make the mundane seem a little more exciting.
