IR Trying Something New

In the past I have rented an infrared camera in the winter. For a while I had some fun trying it out on the winter sports. It was a fun way to break up the season that tends to get kind of long. At this point of the summer I am getting tired of the days with no clouds in the sky and the hot weather. I decided to try something a little different to spark some creativity. Once I ordered the infrared camera I immediately started coming up with projects for it. This is a fun way to get the juices going a little bit.

A Great Test Session

My camera came today and so we went out to make a couple of images to see if I could do what I had in mind. I had two quick photos to make before retreating back out of the heat. Above is my first idea. It is a nine photo panorama that I made at a spot where I have made lots of photos in the past. Taking a familiar spot and changing it up a bit is always a fun thing to do. Over the course of the next couple of weeks I plan on making some photos that show off the campus in a little different light.
