Having A Great Day At The Celery Bog

In the winter you can go a few hours at the Celery Bog at times without making a good photo. You go out though because you never know what you are going to see. Last week I had a day where it seemed like all that I saw were amazing things. Those days are usually not frequent so I stuck around for a few hours and filled up some memory cards. Multiple times on the day I remember saying to anyone who would listen that I didn’t know where to point my camera. There was a lot going on everywhere. With the migration really kicking up I expect a lot more of that here for the next couple of months.

More Than The Pelicans

Tuesday was about more than just seeing one bird. The pelicans were amazing, and clearly the star of the show. On the day though I saw a few cool birds including three owls that I hadn’t seen in about a year. Instead of blabbering more here are some of my favorite photos from the day. By the way despite the title of this section there will be a lot of pelican photos below.
