A Northern Cardinal Poses For Me

Last year was a great year for backyard birding. I tried to make it so that I had native plants that they liked for them to come to. In all it might have been my best year making photos of birds in my backyard. I had warblers that decided to stop by in the fall to feed off the plants as well. The cardinals seemed to finally get used to me on some level tolerating my photography in exchange for some sunflower seeds.

Making Bird Headshots

2021 was the year of the bird headshot for me. It was a combination of gear and experience coming together to help me get closer to the birds. Hopefully this year I can keep this going to make even better photos.
