John Purdue Enjoying The Sitting Room At The Haan Museum

Last December we visited the Haan Museum during the holidays for their Holidays at the Haan displays. Early in our walk I saw this sculpture of John Purdue in the sitting room. After explaining to my little one what a sitting room is I made this photo. The light was kind of interesting here so it made sense to make the photo. The slightly overcast day let some beautiful light into all of the rooms.

A Different Look At John Purdue

There are elements to this sculpture that remind me of the John Purdue statue on campus. The bench look very familiar, but the post by John does not. The statue on campus looks good, but it also makes him look a bit stuffy. This one looks like you could just sit and hang out with him. If this is an alternate take it is pretty cool to see.
