A Frozen Wabash

A Cold Morning On The Banks Of The Wabash River

On Thursday morning I was out in the snow driving around looking for photo ideas. When the sky is as bright as it was during the snow you really can’t make good snokeh photos. I tried some wildlife images, and then decided to head down to the Wabash to check some things out. This railroad bridge is one that I have photographed many times before. The snow and the freezing river made this a different take on a well covered bridge.

Make The Photo

I was here to make photos with my drone. I really had no intention of making any photos with my Sony. I am glad that I gave it a try as it turned out to be my favorite photo of the morning. This year my goal is to try more things while I am out. I have often talked on this blog about how my 2nd idea on the scene was far better than my first. Sometimes just working a scene is the best way to get what you need.
