A Little Holiday Cheer On The Old Barn

Friday I went for a drive making some photos with as the fog enveloped the area. I had the thought of maybe making a Christmas photo, but my drive was more about trying to find interesting subjects. On my way home I saw this familiar barn and decided that it was perfect for my look at Christmas. You have the Christmas wreath on an interesting old barn. A few of my favorite things as the song goes.

Things You Never Forget

Very early in my photography career I made a photo of this barn and put it on the blog. I will never forget that at work people who I didn’t think even knew about my photography commented on the photo. It was the first time that I realized that this photography thing maybe had a chance. I think of that encounter every time that I pass this old barn.
