A Quick Photo During Dinner

Whenever we talk about grabbing dinner at Bru Burger in downtown Lafayette I always bring a camera with me. It seems like something cool happens with the courthouse every time, and I would not be happy making a cell phone video of the courthouse. When the virus hit we quit going out, and only recently started going back again. I made this photo on our first trip back to Bru Burger in over a year. The food was still good, and the view was pretty amazing.

Making The Photo Quickly

My daughter walked out with me to make this photo, and with the dark clouds we knew that we didn’t have much time. I waited for this moment when the clouds sort of mimicked the courthouse in shape and then we were going to head back in. Clouds like this mean heavy rain, and that is exactly what we got.
