Time For Some Headshots

This is the time of year for graduation photos. While I am preparing my kit for those photo sessions it is always good to get some practice in. Here this cardinal came by and posed nicely just outside of my focal distance for a few portraits. Normally when I open the window the cardinals are the first to fly away, but this one just sat there and posed in a few places for me. It even moved around for some different looks in the background. The bird did not take direction very well, but it did have its own poses in mind.

Changing It Up

The last couple of weeks have been pretty much all birds on the schedule. I have had some private photo sessions that have ate into the time I would normally make photos. That is always a good thing though. This weekend I will be on campus for some graduation photos so I am sure that a couple of campus photos will find their way onto the blog.
