William Henry Harrison In Battleground

Visiting A Presidential Site Around President’s Day

Saturday I went out to the battleground that Battleground, Indiana is named after to see the field and to make a photo of William Henry Harrison. With President’s Day coming up I thought that it would be a cool way to honor that day. One of these days I will visit the site when the museum is open so I can learn a little more.

Learning More About The President

This year for Christmas my wife bought me a presidential memoir. For years I loved reading about our President’s and how they came to the highest office in the land. Having kids and a busy schedule kind of ended that hobby for me. As usual my wife knew what was best for me and jump started my reading again. After reading her book I picked up a couple of books that I have had my eye on and a book on Harrison was one of those. Seeing his name all over the area it was only fitting that I learn a little more about him. It was cool to walk around the battlefield with a little more knowledge on my side.
