A Quick Moon Photo

Friday night I was still telling my wife all about my fun day with the eagles while making dinner. When I let the dog outside I saw the moon up above with the sun about to go down. This is my favorite time to make moon photos. I grabbed my tripod and set the camera up for one more photo. I am glad that I did as this turned out very well and was a great way to end a fun day.

The Half Full Moon

The full moon is fun to photograph, but it is a lot like photographing someone in full sunlight. You can see the person, but the features can get washed away. When the moon is half full the sun casts some cool shadows that I think look so much better. The way that the moon seems to fade away also looks pretty magical.
