Just Breathe

I had to keep telling myself this as I was walking on the campus of Purdue during a snowstorm earlier in the year. It sounds crazy, but I kept holding my breath so it wouldn’t show up in my photos. When you are making snokeh photos you want to make a few images of each scene because you cannot predict the snow. You want to have options for later. At some point though the need to breathe kicks in and you have to finally exhale.

Waiting To Exhale

I thought that it would be fun to show what it looked like when you would exhale during an exposure. I think if you could do it right you could make some dreamy photos this way. I may have to experiment with this on another cold winter night. I have a couple of ideas where this could really look cool if done right.
