The Birds Say Hi At The Celery Bog
Yesterday I went out to the Celery Bog to clear my head a little. I just wanted to go for a relaxing walk. While waiting for a bird to land on the tree that was the subject of yesterdays post I noticed a bunch of yellow-rumped warblers all around me. They were landing far too close to even make a picture of them. Just for fun I asked one to land on the branch in the late day light. What would you know? One of them actually did. It tilted its head right away as if to ask if that was the right spot. Yes, yes it was.
A Long Time Coming
This was my first trip to the bog in October. It was prime time, but I just have not been that inspired to make photos lately. I used to say that my job was photography, and it was also my hobby. As the jobs dried up my need to go out and make photos also dried up. I really need to find a way to get back out there and make photos. When things go as well as they did Saturday it is a great way to spend a couple of hours.
