Coming In For A Landing

When The Goose Flies By

I was on the point at the Celery Bog the other day waiting for a heron or an egret to fly by when this goose was the first one through. I was shocked at how close this bird flew to me. They usually look like they will be coming close, but quickly veer off once the catch a glimpse of me. This one could care less though. It must be a regular out at the bog.

Making The Most Out Of Every Opportunity

I have not been out at the bog much over the last couple of months. I normally would not have batted an eye at a goose flying at me. With limited practice though I will photograph anything moving that I can to help get the muscle memory back. I need to just always do this though as it provides some images that I don’t normally make out there.
