An Eastern Phoebe At The Celery Bog

Catching A Glance From The Eastern Phoebe

Saturday morning I was peaked around the same corner where I saw a blue heron catch a fish the previous week. I did not see a heron, but this eastern phoebe was hanging around waiting for its next meal to fly by. It gave me this glance before continuing on finding its next meal.

A Productive Day

I don’t get to spend as much time out in nature as I would like. This year has been a year of a lot of change. One of those things is that my photography life has changed as well. Nature photography is not a thing where you just pop in and make amazing pictures. It can happen that way, but most of the time you have to put in the hours to make the photo. Luckily for me the last couple of weeks I have been very lucky in that I have had some nice encounters in the limited time that I have been able to be at the bog. Hopefully this trend continues.
