Gold And Black Light At Blue Hour

Great Light And Reflections At Purdue

I love the look of this building. I can never find a good angle for it though. The one angle that I want most often has a black fence that would be in the way. If they ever upgrade the fields and the fence comes down for a short time I can finally make the image that I have in my head. Here though I found a nice puddle so that I could get a nice reflection photo. I know the song is meant for Christmas, but these are a few of my favorite things all together here. You have football, sunset, and reflections all in one photo.

Turn Around

Don’t worry I am not going to start singing ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart.’ After making some photos on campus Saturday night I was headed home when I stopped at the football stadium to see what it looked like. The clouds were blocking the sun and since it was past sunset time I realized that the night was a wash. I was headed home down Northwestern when I realized that some light was making its way through the clouds. I turned the car around and went back to the north stadium lot. I made the photo that I posted yesterday, and then I made some photos from this spot by the new performance center. I am glad that I turned the car around.
