31 Ballparks Of May: #9 Busch Stadium

The Beauty Of Busch Stadium

This is probably the one park on this countdown that I have been to more on non game days than on actual game days. I have seen three games in this stadium. I have visited the park countless times when it is not open for play. It is a great place to watch a game with some great fans. St. Louis really has a great thing going.

The Statues Outside The Park

Some amazing players have come through St. Louis over the years. The Cardinals do a great job of honoring them with the statues outside of the park. These can be visited anytime which is another great thing.

The Museum

The part that draws me in while in town is the museum. They do such a great job of taking you through the great history of this team. There is a lot of history to go through, and they do it so well. I love baseball and I love history. When you combine the two you have me hooked.

The View

There are not many views in baseball better than this one. At some point I need to get back to the stadium on a game day. When the stadium is packed this would be a great photo. I am sure that the skyline has changed since I made this photo, bu tit would still be fun to try again.
