A Wintering Carolina Wren In Some Good Light
There are some advantages to making photos in the winter. I made this photo of a Carolina Wren in early February. When you get a lower sun and blue skies your photos just automatically look better. The light is so good all you have to do is put something in front of it. As the summer months approach that window with great light really shrinks. With the low sun in the winter though you have a little more time to play around.
When The Hits Keep Piling Up
I had just made some photos of a hawk that I really loved just a little ways down this trail. I was going to head home when I heard this wren calling. Two birds that are usually shy gave me a great view in just the span of a couple of minutes. Sometimes the luck is with you.
