Dead And Company Visit Noblesville Once Again

Seeing Dead And Company Again

My wife is a huge Grateful Dead fan. I was not so much when I met her. The good times that we have had seeing them play live has really made me enjoy their music. It is hard not to like a band that makes your wife so happy. They really do play feel good tunes that gets the crowd going. We will see them twice more this weekend as they invade Wrigley Field. It is always fun to make pictures of ballpark concerts. Two of my favorite things colliding.

Making Another Pano

With the point and shoot I really cannot get everything into my frame that I want to. I have to have little tricks to do that. The pano is one of those tricks. I could use my phone to make an easy pano, or use the pano feature on my camera. Neither of those would give me much to work with in post though. By making three RAW images and stitching them in Lightroom I still have a lot of data to work with. When the light is like it was at sunset on Wednesday you need that data to make an interesting photo.

The Sony RX100 VI

This little point and shoot really packs a punch. For a few years now I have raved about the Canon G16 that I used to use. When I felt that it was getting a little long in the tooth I decided to research a new point and shoot to use. I started my search with Canon, but found nothing that really jumped out at me. This Sony did. It was everything that I have wanted in a point and shoot. I still would rather have my dSLR with me, but that is not an option. This point and shoot allows me to make images when the light is right, and then put it back into my pocket to enjoy the show.
