Practice! We Talkin’ About Practice?
I normally am not a huge fan of photographing a practice. There are times though when I do want to get out and do so. When the practice is getting ready for an NCAA game of any kind it has a little more meaning. Here at Vanderbilt I have already been to the stadium, but it had undergone some renovations since the last time. It was a good time to get out and make sure that I knew how to get from point A to point B without interfering with game action. It was also a good way to get to shoot inside the football stadium for the first time.
Shooting Baseball In A Football Stadium
The early warm up occurred inside of the football stadium. If you know me then you know that I love both football and baseball. When they collide in some way it makes me happy. I tried to make a couple of photos using iconic football backdrops to tell the story about the early part of the practice.
A Black And White Day
With the rain clouds overhead it seemed like everything that I made Thursday just looked better in black and white. I have a preset that I love to use, and I have been slightly tweaking it as the year has gone on. I think right now I might be done tweaking.
