Purdue Baseball vs. Ohio State

My Last Purdue Baseball Game Of The Season

Friday night was a bittersweet night. It was a beautiful night for baseball, but I knew that it would be my last night photographing Purdue baseball this season. This was a fun year getting back to photographing some action at Alexander Field. It had been a while since I was able to attend so many games there. The season flew by quickly as they do here in the north. For the last game of the year I took the 600 and decided to focus on getting as close to the action as I could. At this point of the year I think that I have tried most of the regular action shots that I am going to try. With that in mind I decided to try and make some different images. At the end of the day I felt that I walked away with a good batch of images from my last game of the year.

My Last Purdue Sporting Event of the 2018-2019 Season

This game was also the last sporting event that I covered for Purdue this season. It was an amazing year getting back to the venues on the Purdue campus. This is the school where I studied, and the city where I live. It was so cool being a very small part of the very awesome things that are happening around Purdue sports. For the past couple of years I have watched from the outside as the content kept getting better and better. It was great to be able to try and contribute to that this year.

The Week In Photos

This past week was all about baseball and birds. At some point these birds from South America will stop showing up at the Celery Bog, but until they do I will keep going out there. You can view my favorite photos from last week here.

Riding Off Into The Sunset

I thought that this was a fitting way to end my year with Purdue. This is a couple of my favorite things all coming together for one photo. Baseball and sunsets are my favorite things to photograph. If an eagle could have photobombed me that would have been even better. This was my last Purdue game of the year, but not my last college baseball game. Next week I will head to Mason, Ohio to photograph the Big East baseball tournament. Last year was filled with some great moments, and I hope that this year is even better. I still have at least six more college baseball games to go this season.
