Photographing Women’s Golf

Photographing Women’s Golf

Saturday began and ended for me on the women’s golf course for the weekend. I shot through the first half of the morning round before heading over to cover the men. After I was done there I went back to photograph the Xavier women finishing up. It was a long day out on the course. I spent over ten hours photographing golf. The challenge of the sport kept me going during the day though.

Getting The Safe Shots

One thing that I tried to fight through all day Saturday was making images for me versus what I thought the team wanted. When I was shooting for Purdue I knew that this was the one chance this year that I would be making photos for them. We needed to get a good catalogue of images for them to use. I didn’t take as many chances as I wanted to because I wanted to get the most shots I could in the short time that I was with each athlete.

The Week In Photos

Last week I was able to put together another gallery of images that I really liked. Getting some new sports into it always helps out. I was able to get out and get a couple of baseball games in as well. You can see my favorite photos from last week here.
