Purdue Softball Walks It Off In Their Home Opener

Purdue Starts Their Home Season Off In Style

Friday afternoon the Purdue softball team used two hits in the bottom of the seventh inning to walk off Iowa. It was a beautiful day in March for softball, and truth be told I could have watched a few extra innings. Selfish reasons aside though it was a great way to start off the home season for the Boilers.

I Love These Uniforms

I don’t know if these are new uniforms, or just new to me but these are great uniforms. The helmet reminds me of old school helmets, but it is a new design. They are so well done. I can’t wait to keep seeing what they come out in. Saturday they play a doubleheader so maybe I get to see two sets of uniforms.

More Photos From The Game

I started shooting the game late, but I still put together a fun gallery from the day. This is a fun team to watch, and a walk off is always fun to cover. You can see my gallery from the game here. It is always fun shooting for Purdue, and I get two more chances to do so on Saturday.
