Back In The Hulman Center
It has been nearly a year since I last shot a game in the Hulman Center. This year they have had many special events in there, but I have been booked for all of them. It was great to be able to get in and shoot a couple of games on the last weekend of action.
The Basic Kit
For the game I only used two cameras and two lenses. I went with the 24-70 and my 70-200mm lens for the action. On two full frame bodies I am able to cover much of the court very well. During the first half I sat on the far end line in a position that I can’t use in Mackey. I love this maybe because I don’t get to use it very much. Out there I feel more comfortable having my computer with me to transmit images. In the second half I moved in to the free throw line where I feel that I make my best images. Overall using two different lenses from two different spots on the court help make a photo gallery that does not look so stale.
