Walking Campus In The Fall
One Sunday I was on campus waiting for a client, and the fall foliage was nearly at its peak. I got to campus a bit early just to walk around and see campus with the leaves changing. This is a beautiful campus that I don’t walk nearly enough as it is. With the leaves changing I sometimes feel that I don’t give it the attention it deserves. I think that as I write this that I have a short time ahead of me before the leaves are on the ground, and the lonely winter begins. I need to get back out to campus soon.
Making Something Different
I feel that when I am on campus I am drawn to the major features. I don’t visit very often so I visit the places that I know the best. On this trip I wanted to try and keep the major landmarks out of my images. If they were in the photos they were just something in the background. It is a fun experiment to take away the things that you think of, and it forces you to find other things to tell the story.
