My Backyard Birds: Tufted Titmouse

The Tufted Titmouse Visits The Backyard

One bird that I have seen for a while, but struggled to make a decent photo of is the tufted titmouse. At first it was very shy of me and my big lens. Most of the time I don’t worry about birds that don’t have much color to them. As the dingy winter moves on I will want to see as much color out of my window as I can. Once a bird tries to evade the camera though it is on. I really have a mission now to make a really good photo of this frequent visitor to the backyard.

When They Bring Their Friends

Once this particular bird started to become more friendly with me I noticed more started showing up. I am not good enough to tell them apart, but I have seen four near the feeders at once. That is fine with me because the more that show up the better my chances are to make a photo of one that I really like.
