When The Northern Flicker Wants A Photo Taken
Yesterday while out at the Celery Bog I was having a good day already. I decided to play around with some of the fall foliage reflections in the marsh. As I was doing so a bird would not stop yelling at me. I had seen what I thought was an albino starling above me when I started to make photos. This bird kept shrieking at me until I turned around. What I saw was a beautiful bird that just wanted their photo made. It sat patiently as I shot the various poses, and then flew off. I guess that it really wanted me to see it. I made my abstract art photo, but I also discovered a new bird.
When The Bird Wants To Be Discovered
Yesterday I saw a couple of birds that I have never seen before. That really does not mean a whole lot because I have not seen many birds. In fact some birds I bet that I have seen, but I don’t know what they are. I was so distracted with a photo idea that I almost missed discovering this bird. Luckily for me it wasn’t shy, and it apparently wanted to be on the blog. If it only knew how few people actually read this blog.
